Texas A&M Foundation Brand Work

JOB OVERVIEW

As a student graphic designer at the Texas A&M Foundation, my job was to support the graphic design team in whatever projects arose. In this role, I gained valuable experience in the more corporate side of researching, pitching, and designing branded material. My projects varied in complexity, from editing a standard one-pager, to creating event branding and collateral.

Legacy Weekends Mailing Package

This project was formed around the idea that Texas A&M Foundation donors who are members of the Legacy Society needed to receive an experiential package in the mail, rather than their standard 5x7” invitation. These weekends were to take place over several months and were to feature a day of touring a highlighted program at A&M, followed by a tailgate the next day. With these points in mind, I came up with the idea to create a ticket stub for each weekend, on theme with the integral football spirit of Texas A&M. After the tickets were developed, I designed the folder and envelope to make the package feel complete and special as the donors received their invitations.

Legacy New Member Induction

For this event, I was tasked with creating the design that would be projected onto a double arched entryway the Foundation had fabricated specifically for this event. The direction we settled on was very Gatsby-esque, featuring an opulent gold-gradiented pattern of symmetrical linework.
